The Caravan of Peace makes an unlikely stop in Kassel this weekend and its an opportunity not to be missed. Just head for the Bali Kino there on Sunday 24th June for 12 noon, join in the fun and witness the cinema version of our film “Celebrating the Divine” on the big screen. You won’t regret it 🙂
Shooting has started for our next „Music for Peace“ documentary with rehearsals in Bad Homburg. At the end of the month the shoot continues in Vienna where the „Caravan of Peace” will be performing Bachs Mass in B minor in the Minoritenkirche.
„Celebrating the Divine” was recently shown at The Museum of Art in Toledo, Ohio and received an uprorious standing ovation. Furthermore it was shown at the „Freie Kirche“ in Frankfurt where it was also warmly received. The non profit organisation „Music for Peace e.V.“ has taken up the cause and is now promoting further peace concerts. The next one is in Vienna on 2nd June 2018.
Support and donations are welcome and can be made on the platform betterplace.org!
We’ve been travelling around Germany with public presentations of “Celebrating the Divine” in the Netherlands, Offenbach and Bremen recently. Showing our film on the big screen at the Kommunales Kino in Bremen was particularly impressive. Next stop is The Museum of Art in Toledo, Ohio on January 7th!
I just happened across this image and had to think fondly of our Bizarre Brits Festival which was hosted by the English Theatre Frankfurt back in 2013. A huge and whacky party celebrating 20 years of Surridge Films. A very good time was had by all!
Copenhagen based Cosmo Films requested production services on a recent shoot they had in Frankfurt. It was part of an international thriller they are producing and we provided locations, talent, support crew, equipment, catering and all necessary permissions.
We regularly produce short documentaries for 3sat’s science programme nano. This time we shot in Munich and Starnberg with our C300 crew. The documentary explored the connection between depression and heart attacks and how they can be prevented.
We recently produced a mini #documentary for Germany’s mega broadcaster ZDF about scientists who invented a new method to detect more sorts of bacteria and viruses that pollute our water. The aim being to make water more hygienic to drink.
We received yet another standing ovation on the second showing of “Celebrating the Divine”, this time in Wiesbaden. The DVDs are also out there for sale so just drop us a line and we’ll get them out to you!
The English Theatre Frankfurt’s current season focuses on Great Britain and their latest production is a comedy about Queen Elizabeth and Margaret Thatcher – an unlikely couple! As part of our ongoing sponsorship and collaboration with the ETF we produced the trailer for HANDBAGGED. Have a look!
We regularly produce short reports on new developments in the world of medicine & technology for 3sat’s flagship daily show called nano. This time we made a programme about Parkinson’s Disease in Würzburg and then in Munich we produced a show about Drinking Water Hygiene.
After a lot of blood sweat and tears we have finally reached the final stage of editing “Celebrating the Divine”. The overall sound mix was completed at Fundemental Sound Studios with the audio wizard Stephan Becker!
We’re still editing the documentary we shot at the end of last year entitled “Celebrating the Divine”. 200 musicians from all over the world visited Israel and played Bach’s mass in B Minor in Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Nazareth.
A couple of years ago we forged a relationship with the largest English-speaking theatre company in mainland Europe, The English Theatre Frankfurt. As official media sponsors it lies in our domain to produce trailers for their upcoming shows. Here we are shooting a trailer to their latest musical “The Life”, a US-based story dealing with all things sex, sin and prostitution around Times Square in the 80’s.
Surridge Films has been sponsoring “The English Theatre Frankfurt” for some time now by producing trailers of all their new productions. Here’s the trailer of the most recent one, “Other Desert Cities”. Not as wacky as a lot of their musicals but nevertheless worth a visit!
As part of our sponsoring relationship with the English theatre we regularly produce trailers for their upcoming productions. This time we shot a short, funky trailer for the musical ‘Ghost’ to be shown in the Christmas run up at local cinemas in Frankfurt.
